The Bitcoin lane, July 2026.

In July 2026 Soqucoin Labs demonstrated BTCSOQ on test networks: testnet4 Bitcoin became an ML-DSA-44 receipt, paid a machine over L2SOQ and returned to Bitcoin. This page is a record of that demonstration. Nothing on it is running.

Total human effort after the payout: zero. Every step signed, every step published at the time. The Bitcoin transaction is on the public testnet4 explorer.
Timestamps are the attestation timestamps recorded during the demonstration. The attestation feed that published the ML-DSA-44 signatures was served for the demonstration and is no longer online. The testnet4 transaction can be checked on a public explorer that belongs to no one here.
What the demonstration didthree programs, run on a schedule and on demand

Program 01 · pay an AI to answer a question. A question was submitted, the machine answered with an HTTP 402 payment demand, the demonstration paid it over an L2SOQ channel, and the machine returned its answer with an ML-DSA-44 receipt binding the invoice, the question and the answer. Price per answer: 333 shors.

Program 02 · two AIs haggle a price. Two machines negotiated, each turn settled over the same channel and sealed with a receipt.

Program 03 · race the Bitcoin clock. L2SOQ settlements were timed against a Bitcoin testnet4 confirmation.

The demonstration ran itself on a five-minute schedule from a public test budget, and visitors could run each program on demand. All of it settled with test coins. The terminal, the scheduler, the public budget and the miner payout button were taken down at the end of the demonstration.

The recording shows real testnet4 and stagenet transactions from July 2026. Invoices, payments and the AI getting paid before it answered all happened on public test networks. Each answer's signed receipt was verified in the visitor's browser at the time.

The July 2026 demonstration used test money and test keys held by Soqucoin Labs for the demonstration only. Labs operates no live deployment. BTCSOQ is a reference implementation of Bitcoin-backed receipts for licensed custodians, who would run it under their own licences.
